Covid-19 exposures are likely to be a reality for the next year. That is the reality. Safety on the jobsite regarding this exposure has never been more important. An accident on a jobsite is often individual and has relatively minor consequences on the production of the project as a whole. A Covid-19 exposure on the jobsite can be costly, lead to delays, and significant claims putting the profitability of the jobsite at risk.
Putting together a Covid-19 plan that complies with OSHA and CDC guidelines is the minimum standard and may not provide enough protections for your employees and subcontractors. This program is designed to review the OSHA and CDC guidelines and build upon them to assist a company in designing a plan that takes into account other practices that would go above and beyond the basic guidelines using the basic tenants of the hierarchy of control of risk. Because of the unique nature of this particular pandemic with asymptomatic transmission, there is no one best practice.
At the end of the session a Q & A roundtable discussion will commence as a way to foster additional ideas to better protect workers, budgets, and reputations in this uncertain environment.
This webinar is for General Members including Superintendents, Project Managers and Estimators, and also for interested Associate Members.
